Breakfast..Getting Your Meeting or Event Off to a Great Start

Breakfast is considered to be one of the most important meals of the day.  Many times you would never be able to tell that this is the case at most meetings/events.  Breakfast too often is just a few muffins and some fruit (if you’re lucky).

Energize Your Attendees

If your attendees are dragging by 11:00 am it could be because of their breakfast.  It’s time to make breakfast important again.  Here are some fun ideas to energize your attendees.

  • A Is For Apples: Apples are not only healthy they are able to help wake people up.  Some say it’s the crunch, others claim it’s the natural glucose.  Both are correct, plus apples contain high levels of phytonutrients, antioxidants.  So your attendees will be awake and their skin will start glowing.  Offering whole apples is simple, you can also offer slice apples for attendees to add to their oatmeal, cereal and/or yogurt.
  • H2 OH Yeah: Water is very important to helping people wake up.  Of course almost every meal has water available; consider jazzing up the morning water with some fruit slices, or by offering water bottles bar – where attendees can add in their own fruit for their water.
  • Omelet Bars: Let’s face it, attendees still love them.  The more choices they have for their omelets the better.  Offer healthy additions like broccoli, tomatoes, mushrooms, spinach and asparagus.
  • Old Reliable – Coffee: People love their coffee.  Don’t take our word for it drive by any Starbucks at 7:45 in the morning.  Coffee bars are fun and entertaining.  People love being able to dress up their coffee, and those who don’t can still just enjoy a cup of regular joe.

Most people are not morning people.  Anything you can do to help your attendees wake up naturally, is ideal.
